This old Heritage House, now museum, originally served as the Red Cross Outpost Hospital in the area, and later the Post Office.

In 1961 a Cold War era Diefenbunker was built on the property as part of the defense in case of a nuclear event.

Willowford School #3 opened it’s doors in 1939 to Grade 1 to 10 students until 1945. It was moved to this property in 2025.
